Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, known as the “Hospital with a Heart,” treats more than 800,000 people yearly. Known for expertise in cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, surgery, and women’s health, at Shaare Zedek every patient is treated with compassion. With over 22,000 births a year, Shaare Zedek has the busiest maternity department and largest NICU in all of Israel. Shaare Zedek has treated the vast majority of victims of the current wave of terror. As world leaders in trauma and emergency care, our staff plays a lead role in the IDF Field Hospital that has saved thousands of lives in countries around the world. Shaare Zedek does not receive any government funding for new equipment and/or facilities.
