Rachel Wolf began working at the American Committee for Shaare Zedek fifteen years ago as a public relations associate. Her significant talents were recognized with several promotions culminating three years ago with the decision of the Board of Directors to name Rachel as CEO. Rachel was raised in Great Neck, NY and graduated with a BA in Psychology from Barnard College. Rachel credits her dedication and love for the Jewish community to her parents Michele and Howard Wolf, and her grandparents, Ruth and Phil Berman, z”l and Carrie and Julius Wolf, z”l. During her many years with the American Committee, Rachel has demonstrated exceptional dedication, determination, and ingenuity in support of the Hospital’s vital mission. Blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and amazing organizational and technological prowess, Rachel is a most effective leader. Her ability to attract and befriend new donors, while maintaining deep relationships with those who are already members of the Shaare Zedek family, are hallmarks of her personality. Rachel is very active in her synagogue, The Jewish Center, and serves as Director of Creative and Technical Services for VIPRAM Passover. Rachel and her husband, Andrew Borodach, live on the Upper West Side of New York City with their beautiful daughter, Kira Ruth.
