I am so excited to announce that I will be running in the TCS New York City Marathon on November 2, 2025 in support of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Shaare Zedek Medical Center treats more than 1.2 million people each year, including more than 100,000 children! A 1000-bed facility, Shaare Zedek is committed to delivering compassionate medical care while actively pursuing cutting-edge scientific research and technological advancements. The Hospital delivers more than 20,000 babies a year, which is more than triple the number of babies born in most hospitals. As a Level 1 Trauma Unit, Shaare Zedek serves as Jerusalem’s most active Trauma and Emergency Center, including receiving the majority of patients injured in Jerusalem terror attacks.
Shaare Zedek, known as the Hospital with a Heart, provides top-tier medical care that encapsulates the spirit of resilience and compassion. It’s staff is working 24/7 to save and treat all those injured in the war with kindness, compassion. Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem has treated more than 1,500 soldiers for physical injuries and over 500 people have been cared for in our mental health emergency unit. As soldiers arrive via helicopter to the adjacent athletic field they are immediately transferred to our Trauma Unit. Many of those patients arrive in serious condition and there are multiple cases where the dedication and experience of our staff has been instrumental in saving lives, limbs and vision. There is a remarkable sense of dedication in treating these patients and we can all feel a great sense of pride in Shaare Zedek’s place in the war effort. Donations of any amount are appreciated. Even if you cannot make a donation, you can still help out by forwarding this link to a friend, sharing on Facebook. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Thank you for supporting us, and in doing so, helping thousands of patients at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
I know that together we can make a difference!
