Team Shaare Zedek
2024 TCS NYC Marathon

As some of you may know, conquering the NYC marathon has long been a goal of mine. Over the past year, it has become clear to me that there is no better way than to do so while supporting my brothers and sisters in Israel during this unprecedented time. I am so excited to be running in the TCS NYC Marathon on November 3, 2024 in support of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and all the incredible work that takes place there.

Shaare Zedek Medical Center treats more than 1.2 million people each year, including more than 100,000 children! The Hospital delivers more than 22,000 babies a year, which is more than triple the number of babies born in most hospitals. As a Level 1 Trauma Unit, Shaare Zedek serves as Jerusalem’s most active Trauma and Emergency Center, including receiving the majority of patients injured in Jerusalem terror attacks.

Shaare Zedek Medical Center’s staff is working 24/7 to save and treat all those injured in the war with kindness, compassion and top medical care. Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem has treated more than 700 soldiers for physical injuries and over 400 people have been cared for in our mental health emergency unit. We are treating soldiers evacuated directly from the south. The patients arrive via helicopter to the adjacent athletic field and are immediately transferred to our Trauma Unit. Many of those patients arrive in serious condition and there are multiple cases where the dedication and experience of our staff has been instrumental in saving lives, limbs and vision. There is a remarkable sense of dedication in treating these patients and we can all feel a great sense of pride in Shaare Zedek’s place in the war effort. Donations of any amount are appreciated. Even if you cannot make a donation, you can still help out by forwarding this link to a friend, sharing on Facebook. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Thank you for supporting me, and in doing so, helping thousands of patients at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. I know that together we can make a difference!
