Brendan Lasko grew up in Hollywood, FL, and is now a senior at Baruch Business School. During his gap year at Reishit, he discovered a true passion for giving and community service. Whether delivering food for Shabbat, visiting the sick and elderly, or simply being someone others can always count on, Brendan’s kindness and commitment to tzedakah shine through everything he does.
Brendan joined Shaare Zedek in 2023, first as a College Bowl-A-Thon Team Captain and later as a College Board Co-Chair. His warmth, generosity, and leadership have made him an integral part of our community. Through his dedication and genuine care for others, Brendan has helped raise vital support for individuals in need and for the life-saving mission of Shaare Zedek. His fundraising efforts supported the purchase of a NICU open incubator and the building of Shaare Zedek’s crucial underground ICU.
