Bassie and David are noted prominent philanthropists who have both had successful business careers. The Golds have been dedicated to many local and International Jewish organizations and causes and are very long-time supporters of their beloved Shaare Zedek Medical Center, of which Bassie is the Women’s Division Vice President.
Professionally, Bassie served as a Real Estate Broker through Bassie Realty, working throughout Brooklyn, and David serves as a prominent attorney and Real Estate investor, working country wide. They have two loving, happily married children, Steven to Nicole and Pammy to Howie, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, all residing in New York or New Jersey, and all who will continue the family tradition of doing chesed work, bli ayen harah.
Bassie and David moved to Flatbush in 1966 to provide their children with a Yeshivah Flatbush education. Bassie served with distinction as Chairman of The Board and President of the Sisterhood of the Young Israel of Flatbush and as Chairman of the Board and President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Yeshivah of Flatbush.
