Abigail Lichter is from Woodmere, NY and is currently a pre-med student at Touro. During Abigail’s gap year in Israel at Midreshet Moriah, she often visited Shaare Zedek bringing toys and smiles to the children. On a return trip to Israel, Abigail had the privilege of taking a private tour of Shaare Zedek’s impressive new Cancer Center, ER and underground Emergency ICU.
Abigail spent the past two summers at Camp Simcha, volunteering and running activities for kids with cancer. It is her love for Israel and chesed that led to her involvement with Shaare Zedek.
Abigail started as a team captain for the College Bowl-A-Thon during her freshman year
and went on to become co-chair of the Shaare Zedek College Board for 2 years from 2022- 2024. She feels extremely fortunate to be a part of the Shaare Zedek Family and looks forward to her contin- ued involvement.
